How do I create an advertisement?
First you must register as a user, then you can create your advertisement. It's all done under the header 'Edit'.
How do I update / delete my advertisement?
Click at the menu item 'Edit' and sign on with your User ID and Password, then you can change and delete your advertisements.
I have forgotten my password!
Click at the menu item 'Edit' and thereafter 'Forgot user name/password'. Write the email address you registred with and your User ID and Password will automatically be sent.
How do I get an image in my advertisement?
It is only possible to upload photos in sales advertisements. First sign on using your User ID and Password. Then click at 'Images' rightmost of the advertisement line.
I have uploaded a new image, but I can still only see the old one.
Your browser keeps the old image in it´s cache for some days. That's why you can't see your new image immediately. You must force your browser to reload the new image. If you are using Internet Explorer: When you see your old image you must press the 'Ctrl'-key and thereafter and at the same time the F5 key, then the explorer will reload the new image.
Why aren't there more photos in the yacht database?
We would very much like to have many more photos in our database, but because of copyrights we can't just pick photos from the Internet. If you have some good photos of your boat we would very much appreciate it if we might use them.
Why don't I receive a reply from 'Contact us'?
We do reply to all incoming e-mails but unfortunately you don't all write your e-mail addresses correctly. If you don't receive an answer within a week please try to write again and check your e-mail address.
How do I change an image in my advertisement?
Just upload another one.
How do I move an advertisement from one header to another. E.g. from 'Wanted' to 'For Sale'.
You can't! The information in advertisements under different headers are not the same. You have to delete the advertisement and create a new one under the correct header.
I can't get in contact with the advertiser. Can you help?
Sorry, we don't have more contact information than what you can read in the advertisement.
My picture is too large to be uploaded. What do I do?
You have to reduce the size of the picture. Without recommending any applications, you may find one of the following programs interesting. - XnView for the advanced user (supports several languages). - PhotoRazor for the unexperienced user (English only). Both programs are free.
I write the price as 210.000, but my advertisement shows only 210. What do I do wrong?
The separator is wrong, just write 210000.
I have just created a new advertisement but it does not appear on the list. What do I do wrong?
